Job Description

Morecambe Football Club is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and committed individual as its new Club Secretary.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Club's football administration, primarily focusing on the Men’s First Team and Academy but providing support to the Women's Football Committee where required too. As our first point of contact for all governing bodies and football stakeholders, you will ensure that policies and procedures are implemented in line with best practice and that the Club complies with all rules and regulations of the various football authorities.

If you are passionate about providing excellent administration within a professional, busy football club environment and have experience and knowledge of football regulations, then we would love to hear from you.

The role is permanent and full-time, 37.5 hours per week, based at the Halo Aerospace Stadium, Morecambe, and the successful candidate will need to attend all men’s home first team fixtures (attending all away fixtures is optional).

Given the unique demands that come with this role within an elite football club environment, the role requires professionalism and flexibility and the importance of demonstrating confidentiality and integrity at all times is crucial.
