Working Pattern: Full-Time 37.5 hours a week including evening and occasional weekend work

Job Outline:
Working as part of the Social Inclusion Team, the role will support the coordination
and delivery of Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation’s social inclusion
initiatives.
The role will include designing and delivering social inclusion interventions, relating
to needs for young people and adults such as anti-social behaviour and knife crime
as well as leading on our Youth Voice offer which includes the coordination of the
Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation Youth Panel.

Role Specific Responsibilities Include:
• Plan, deliver and evaluate a range of sessions and activities that contribute to
our Social Inclusion strategic theme, including but not limited to Premier League
Kicks, United for Change, targeted mentoring and the Foundation’s Youth Panel
• With support, manage staff including progress towards targets, outcomes and
performance reviews
• Support the Social Inclusion Coordinators to design and adapt the content of
delivery to meet the needs of target groups for our social inclusion offer
• Deliver group activity and workshops related to social inclusion, such as antisocial
behaviour, knife crime and disability inclusion
• Plan, deliver and evaluate a range of initiatives, data gathering and activities
to achieve the outcomes for the United for Change youth social action project
based in Brambles Farm and Thorntree wards
• Support the Foundation’s Youth Panel Chair to ensure regular meetings take
place across the year
• Support the further development of Youth Panel members through training and
appropriate exit pathways
• Lead on regular data collection, monitoring and evaluation of all delivery
including completing monitoring reports to a high standard and within identified
deadlines
• Working with the relevant programme Coordinator, contribute to data and
impact measurement working with the Data and Impact Coordinator
• Supervise and lead a cohort of coaches and related staff on the Premier League
Kicks programme
• Develop a knowledge of all opportunities for young people in the community
and signpost accordingly
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, including

• Consult with the Designated Safeguarding Officer to understand and support
the complex safeguarding and risk requirements of delivery
• Consult with the Health and Safety Officer to understand and support the health
and safety needs and risk assessments of delivery

Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974). Successful applicants will be required to
undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service (formerly CRB) check and are required
to declare any convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings that are not
‘protected’ as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exemptions) Act 1975.
The successful applicant will not be able to start working for the Foundation until
the DBS check has been completed.

The Foundation will also seek the successful candidate’s consent for obtaining two
written references and to ask for documentary proof of qualifications and right
to work in the UK. Any offer of employment will be conditional on these being
satisfactory.

Once in post, all new staff will receive a comprehensive safeguarding induction
from our Designated Safeguarding Officer, as well as ongoing safeguarding
training.
