Job Outline:
Working as part of the Education Team, the role will deliver on Middlesbrough
Football Club Foundation’s Premier League Inspires programme which is funded by
the Premier League Foundation.
The delivery will focus on high-quality, engaging and supportive one-to-one
mentoring as well as small cohort interventions based on identified themes such as
Attendance Attainment and Behaviour.

The role will also support the delivery of the Premier League Kicks Programme.

our activity and interact with our partners and colleagues.

Role Specific Responsibilities Include:
• Plan, prepare and deliver a range of one to one and group targeted interventions
to children and young people who are referred to our Premier League Inspires
programme. These sessions predominantly take place within school settings.

Deliver a range of targeted interventions to children in secondary schools in
accordance with the Service-Level Agreement.
• Build positive, trusted relationships with young people through implementing
early and responsive intervention based on individual needs, following their
interests and personal strengths
• Be a positive role model for children and young people and provide non-judgemental
support and respecting diversity and lifestyle choices
• Work with other multi-agency organisations to provide wrap-around support for
the young person and their family
• Create and sustain partnerships with local schools and organisations to provide
suitable exit strategies for participants – encourage young people to become
involved in community-based activities
• Support and encourage children and young people to access Premier League
Kicks and wider Foundation programmes
• Support with the delivery of other programmes/sessions across Middlesbrough
Football Club Foundation which includes some evening and weekend work.
Examples include Premier League Kicks, Match Day and Holiday Camps
• Undertake administrative tasks and communicate with different stakeholders
• Support with the data collection with guidance from your Line Manager and the
Data and Impact Coordinator
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, including

• Adhere to health and safety requirements with support of your Line Manager
and the Health and Safety Manager
• Be committed to safeguarding and working with Safeguarding Ambassadors

to declare any convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings that are not
‘protected’ as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exemptions) Act 1975.
The successful applicant will not be able to start working for the Foundation until
the DBS check has been completed.

The Foundation will also seek the successful candidate’s consent for obtaining two
written references and to ask for documentary proof of qualifications and right
to work in the UK. Any offer of employment will be conditional on these being
satisfactory.

Once in post, all new staff will receive a comprehensive safeguarding induction
from our Designated Safeguarding Officer, as well as ongoing safeguarding
