Targeted Youth Officer Organisation Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation Salary £26,277.50 Location Southlands Centre Contract type Fixed Term (Full time) Closing date 4 June 2026 Interview date 18 June 2026 Job Description Working Pattern: Full-Time 37.5 hours a week including evening andoccasional weekend workContract Type: Fixed Term - March 2027 with the potential of extensionSalary: £26,277.50Location: Southlands CentreJob Outline:Working as part of the Social Inclusion Team, the role will deliver on MiddlesbroughFootball Club Foundation’s Switch It Project which is funded by MiddlesbroughCouncil.The delivery will focus on high-quality, engaging and supportive one-to-onementoring as well as small group workshops based on identified themes such asMental Health, Wellbeing and Knife Crime.The role will also support the delivery of the Premier League Kicks Programme.At Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation, we are committed to living andembedding our core values (quality, inspire, teamwork, inclusion and honestyand integrity), in how we deliver our activity and interact with our partners andcolleagues.Role Specific Responsibilities Include:• Plan, prepare and deliver a range of targeted interventions to children andyoung people who are referred to our Switch It Project. These sessionspredominately take place within school settings• Build positive, trusted relationships with young people through implementingearly and responsive intervention based on individual needs, following theirinterests and personal strengths• Be a positive role model for children and young people and provide nonjudgemental support and respecting diversity and lifestyle choices• Work with other multi-agency organisations to provide wrap-around support forthe young person and their family• Create and sustain partnerships with local schools and organisations to providesuitable exit strategies for participants – encourage young people to becomeinvolved in community-based activities.• Support and encourage children and young people (of your caseload) to accessPremier League Kicks on an evening• Support with the delivery of other programmes/sessions across MiddlesbroughFootball Club Foundation which includes some evening and weekend work.Examples include Premier League Kicks, Match Day and Holiday Camps• Undertake administrative tasks and communicate with different stakeholders• Support with the data collection with guidance from your Line Manager andthe Data and Impact Coordinator• Demonstrate a strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion,including adapting resources and engagements to ensure equal opportunitiesfor all• Adhere to health and safety requirements with support of your Line Managerand the Health and Safety Manager• Be committed to safeguarding and working with Safeguarding Ambassadorsand the Designated Safeguarding Officer• Promote the vision, mission and core values of Middlesbrough Football ClubFoundation How to apply https://irecruit.efl.com/vacancies/2826/targeted-youth-officer-switch-it.html Share X LinkedIn Email
