Job Description

‣ To provide the highest quality Physiotherapy
support to all patients under your care.
‣ To provide a responsive, accessible
Physiotherapy support service to all patients
at either of the venues listed and any other
location deemed appropriate to meet the
requirements of the job.
‣ To manage a clinical caseload, providing
physiotherapy assessment, treatment,
rehabilitation plans, reports and
correspondence, ensuring excellent patient
care is promoted within the clinical setting
‣ To ensure a high standard of health
promotion & preventative care in liaison with
the other allied professions including advice
on the risk reduction of injuries and illness.
‣ To liaise with other medical personnel, sports
science staff and other support staff as
required to ensure the highest standard of
care of a patient’s injury or illness and
optimum rehabilitation and management,
whilst always working within the CSP
guidelines on patient confidentiality.
‣ To refer to appropriate specialists and other
members of the medical support team as
appropriate.
‣ To keep physiotherapy records of all
consultations and to keep these records
confidential and secure.
‣ To provide reports on Physiotherapy activity
provided at all locations as required.
‣ To provide excellent customer service and
promote a professional and caring environment.
Be evidence informed in the delivery of your
practice.
Essential Qualifications
‣ BSc in Physiotherapy or the equivalent
‣ Member of the Chartered Society of
Physiotherapy (MCSP)
‣ Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
registered.
‣ Proficient in the utilisation of different
software, e.g. practice management and
EMR, exercise software, for the efficient
delivery to their patients.
Desired Qualifications / Clinical
Experience:
‣ MSc (or equivalent) in Sports & Exercise
Medicine / Advanced MSK / Biomechanics /
S&C
‣ A minimum of 10yrs within a sports or
specialists area (extended scope practice)
‣ Post Grad clinical specialism - Prescriber or
Sonographer.
