Job Description: London Universities and Colleges Athletics (LUCA) is the governing body for university athletics in London and the South East. We bring together 20 member institutions and deliver a year-round programme of competitions, including cross country, indoor and outdoor championships, varsity events, and the iconic Hyde Park Relays. LUCA is now working towards Vision 2030 — an ambitious strategy to grow participation, strengthen governance, and achieve charity status.

We are seeking new trustees to join our Board and play a central role in this next stage of development. As a trustee, you will help to shape LUCA’s long-term strategy, provide oversight of our charitable objectives, and ensure we continue to deliver inclusive, high-quality opportunities for students.

This is an exciting opportunity to:

*Contribute to the growth of one of the largest student athletics networks in Europe.

*Apply and develop governance, leadership, and strategic planning skills in a board-level role.

*Work alongside experienced trustees, executives, and stakeholders from across higher education and sport.

*Build your professional network within both the athletics and wider sporting sectors.

We are looking for individuals with the commitment and expertise to guide LUCA through a period of growth and change. Prior experience in governance, finance, law, communications, or sport development will be particularly valuable.
