Job Description: Lions Sports Academy is looking for a passionate and experienced Hockey Coach to join our team delivering high-quality coaching sessions across South and West London.

About the Role

We deliver sports provision to schools and clubs, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and enjoyment. The successful candidate will lead engaging sessions, support player progression, and represent Lions Sports Academy with professionalism and energy.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver dynamic, age-appropriate rugby sessions
Work with young people of varying ages and skill levels
Communicate effectively with players, parents, and schools
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Represent the values and standards of Lions Sports Academy
Able to work Monday-Friday afternoons from 1pm

Requirements

Recognised Hockey Coaching Qualification/ 5+ years of competitive playing experience
Experience working with children and/or young athletes
Ability to travel to multiple venues in Central London
Strong communication and organisational skills
Enhanced DBS check (non-negotiable)
First Aid and Safeguarding certifications (desirable)
