As Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Head of Performance to successfully deliver a holistic physical development strategy across the LCFC Women's first team, with responsibilities focused on the delivery of gym and pitch-based sessions, monitoring and analysis of performance, provision of female athlete-specific support, alongside positive collaboration with the wider multi-disciplinary team. If you're excited about making a difference and contributing to the Club’s success, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!The ideal candidate will meet certain criteria and hold specific qualifications in order for them to be successful within the role - Essential criteria for the role includes:BSc in Sport and Exercise Science or related discipline.MSc in Strength & ConditioningUKSCA accreditation or equivalent.Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering S&C programmes in a professional or elite sporting environment.Proven experience delivering strength programmes that contribute to injury risk reduction and performance outcomes.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with players and staff.Desirable criteria for the role includes:Experience working in women’s football or with female athletes at elite level.Familiarity with athlete management systems (e.g. Kitman Labs) and performance technology (e.g., ForceDecks, VALD, GPS).Awareness of safeguarding, mental wellbeing, and performance lifestyle issues in female footballers.If you think your experience and skills match, and you’ve got the drive, energy, and skills to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, we want you on our team!
