Casual College Coach Organisation Leeds United FC Salary Competitive Location Elland Road Stadium, Elland Road, Leeds, LS11 0ES Contract type (Part time) Closing date 18 July 2025 Job Description ROLE SUMMARYTo provide Coaching opportunities on several programs Leeds United College offer from September onwards.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES- Building rapport with students.- Helping students identify strengths and weaknesses.- Assisting students with setting their career goals.- Developing student habits and other skills to ensure their success.- Analysing data and tracking student progress towards goals.- Connecting students with other resources, as needed.- Be proactive in sourcing information - Driving the coaching process to help provide a first-class holistic development experience for the players - Adopting and embedding the College Playing Philosophy - Adhering to the delivery principles and standards as outlined in the College Coaching Philosophy- Planning and delivering age-appropriate coaching that delivers the objectives of the coaching curriculum- Adapting coaching curriculum practice to meet the varying and evolving needs of individual players and the group- Monitoring and reviewing individual player progress - Providing a first-class games programme experience for the players at all fixtures, tournaments as required- Developing age-appropriate game plans that link to coaching curriculum objectives- Utilising video feedback and other Performance Analysis tools to support the development of the players- Prepare player reviews throughout the academic year- Discuss player reviews with student/player and parentsREUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS- Football techniques and skills in shooting, manipulating and passing the ball- Patience and Perseverance - Game intelligence – spatial awareness, tactical knowledge- Physical Fitness – endurance, balance, and Co-ordination- Professional mindset – Compassion, composure and self-motivation- A desire to help students succeed.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Willingness to collaborate and build rapport with students.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Ability to motivate students as they transition from high school to college to career.REQUIRED BEHAVIORAL ATTRIBUTES- Football techniques and skills in shooting, manipulating and passing the ball- Patience and Perseverance - Game intelligence – spatial awareness, tactical knowledge- Physical Fitness – endurance, balance, and Co-ordination- Professional mindset – Compassion, composure and self-motivation- A desire to help students succeed.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Willingness to collaborate and build rapport with students.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Ability to motivate students as they transition from high school to college to career.
