Job Description
SBU: Hertfordshire Sports Village
FTE: 0.6 (working 24 hours per week)
Duration of Contract: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract
Annual Leave: 23 days annual leave plus standard bank holidays increasing to 26 days after 4 years continuous service
Salary: HSV6 £30,282 - £32,812 pro-rata pa
Location: De Havilland Campus, Hatfield, Hertfordshire

We are on the lookout for a marketing manager that is brimming with ideas, confident with communication, a whizz at social media and a pro at juggling different projects. Sound like you? Main duties and responsibilities:
• Construct, develop and implement integrated marketing, communication and sales plans to deliver budgeted income, participation and retention.
• Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of marketing activity on a regular basis and create relevant reports for the Senior/Middle Management Team
• Work with the graphic designer to manage the stock of printed materials, ensuring they are on time, correct and fit the target audience.
• Able to manage allocated budget
• Be a role model for sales and marketing with the confidence to marketing and promote Sports Village products and services
• Representing the Sports Village internally and externally though various fair and events.
• Be a brand guardian for the Sports Village
• Be proficient with traditional and digital media including emails, website, print and social media

Skill and experience required:
• Enjoy working with people in a customer-facing environment
• Be successful at marketing planning with proven positive impact on income, including the use of traditional and e-commerce marketing initiatives.
• Experience of working in a sales and marketing environment.
• Experience of production of publicity, marketing collateral, advertising and press releases.
• Experience of undertaking web and social media updates and writing for the web.
• Experience of working with designers to create marketing materials.
• Have creative flair for copy writing and create eye catching content on social media
• Pride yourself on brilliant communication and organisational skills
• Be self-assured and confident to do the job under little supervision
• Be a reliable team player

Qualifications required:
• A-Levels or equivalent qualification
• Degree in a marketing or sports related area or equivalent demonstrable experience
