Job Description: We are looking to appoint BTEC Sport Educator who will be based at our Football Education Academy in Peterborough. This is a full time role.

The successful candidate will deliver education, coaching and assess learners, whilst developing learners' knowledge, skills and behaviours. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, friendly and adaptable, with excellent communication skills and high expectations.

Salary: from £24,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Typical responsibilities include:

Agreeing an individual training programme with each learner
Delivering education sessions
Assessing and monitoring learners
Developing learners' knowledge, skills and behaviours
Ensuring learners complete their programme on-target
Identifying and addressing gaps in achievement
Maintaining a record of progress and achievement for each learner
Overall, we are looking for somebody with a sport background who is passionate about young people and education.

Candidates must hold a BTEC or equivalent in a sport subject, as well as experience with post-16 education and coaching.

Desirable, but not essential, is a CAVA qualification and experience of teaching and behaviour management.

We offer full training and support, plus a competitive salary. Monday to Friday, 9.00am–4:30pm working hours (FT), travel expenses, company pension scheme, health care scheme, 33 days holiday allowance (FT inc bank holidays) rising to 38 days after ‘time served’ period (PT holidays Pro Rata) and ongoing development opportunities.
