Job Description: Fulham Reach Boat Club (FRBC) is an organisation doing inspiring work at the intersection of sport, social impact and community.

Based on the Thames at Fulham Reach, FRBC uses rowing as a force for lasting social change, bringing together young people, adults, people with disabilities and those involved in the criminal justice system.

With more than 2,000 participants each year, a thriving membership community and an established corporate team-building offering, FRBC has built a distinctive charity and commercial model that creates both social impact and financial sustainability.

The next CEO will lead the organisation through an exciting new phase, with opportunities to:
• Shape and deliver the organisation’s strategy and long-term vision
• Build on FRBC’s strong social impact and expand its reach
• Strengthen income generation, partnerships and fundraising
• Lead and develop a high-performing team
• Work closely with the Board, funders, British Rowing and a wide range of stakeholders
• Develop new opportunities across youth development, accessible rowing, reducing reoffending and environmental stewardship

We’re looking for an ambitious, values-led leader with strong strategic, commercial and operational capability. Previous CEO experience is welcomed but not essential; what matters is the ability to lead, grow and develop a complex organisation — and a genuine passion for rowing and the role sport can play in creating opportunity and strengthening communities.
