Youth Engagement Officer (20 Hour Role) Organisation Fulham Football Club Foundation Salary £13,390 Location South West London Contract type (Part time) Closing date 12 October 2025 Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and inspiring Youth Engagement Officer to join the Foundation team, with responsibility for supporting the development, coordination and delivery of Premier League Inspires, based in Secondary Schools across South West London.The Premier League Inspires programme is a targeted intervention that engages young people who are struggling at school or are at risk of being excluded. Working with the programme lead, you will support young people through mentoring, social action, delivering a qualification, and by providing them real world learning opportunities to inspire and reengage them at school.The post holder will be required to mentor participants, plan and deliver sport and classroom-based activities and support relationships with internal and external partners. They will require the ability to connect with a wide range of people, work under pressure and manage their own workloads. They will also be motivated and eager to support young people to achieve their potential. You will have experience of working with young people, preferably in an educational or youth work environment. You’ll have excellent communication skills and the ability to adjust your delivery style to the needs of the audience. You will be experienced in delivering workshops in a classroom setting and developing resources. You will also have experience in how to manage challenging behaviours.Outstanding organisational skills are required to ensure high quality delivery is maintained across the schools you will be working in, and to make sure all events and key dates are planned for in advance. You must be confident in dealing with challenges that arise and taking responsibility for finding solutions.You will have a first class work ethic and a forward thinking approach to ensure all programmes achieve their desired outcomes. Candidates must have the following qualifications (in date) and experience, as a minimum: FA Safeguarding Children CertificateFA First Aid CertificateExperience of mentoring and supporting the development of young peopleThe post will be for 20 hours per week spread across five days per week.The closing date for applications will be Sunday the 12th of October, with interviews taking place on Wednesday 22nd October and Friday 24th October.
