Sports Tutor & Assessor - Apprenticeships (Remote) Organisation Educationwise Salary £30,000-£34,000 per annum Location Remote (UK) with occasional travel for meetings and learner visits Contract type Permanent (Full time) Closing date 31 July 2026 Job Description Educationwise Academy | Fully Remote | UK-wide | £30,000–£34,000 | Permanent Full-time (35 hours)Educationwise Academy is an Ofsted Outstanding training provider delivering apprenticeships and specialist learning programmes across the UK.We’re looking for an experienced Sports Tutor & Assessor to support apprentices working towards their Sports Coach qualification.This is a fully remote role with occasional UK travel for meetings and standardisation events.What you’ll do:• Deliver engaging teaching and coaching sessions to apprentice learners.• Support learners through their qualifications and apprenticeship standards.• Carry out progress reviews with learners and employers.• Assess practical competence and maintain compliant learner records.• Build positive relationships with learners, employers and colleagues.• Keep your professional knowledge and CPD up to date.Essential Qualifications & Experience • Level 3-4 Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS) or equivalent.• Practical experience within the sports coaching sector.• Recent teaching or assessing experience.• Excellent communication and IT skills.• Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.Desirable• Level 4 Sports Coach qualification.• Level 5 DTLLS qualification.• Assessor qualification.• Knowledge of Ofsted, CIMSPA and OFQUAL requirements.We welcome applications from candidates who are passionate about developing the next generation of sports coaches.
