PE Specialist Organisation Edstart Sports Coaching Salary Various Location North West England Contract type Permanent (Full time) Closing date 6 June 2026 Job Description Edstart is an organisation set up to support Primary Schools in delivering PE and sports coaching sessions. Our coaches deliver high quality PE and sports sessions (breakfast, dinner time and after school club) to children from foundation stage through to upper key stage 2 using the PE curriculum as a framework for school time delivery. We also offer extra curriculum activities across a range of sports through the delivery of before / after school clubs, dinner time clubs and holiday clubs.Edstart operate in Rochdale, Bury, Bolton, Salford, Warrington, St Helens, Blackburn, Burnley, Hyndburn, Rossendale, Tameside, Stockport, Calderdale, Bradford, Liverpool, West LeedsResponsibilities1. To plan and deliver breakfast, dinnertime and after-school sports clubs to children aged between 4 -11.2. Work to tight deadlines, ensure lesson plans, pupil assessments and any other evidence of teaching and learning are recorded and submitted to your line manager at the requested time.3. Regularly monitor sports equipment and report to line manager any lost or faulty equipment.4.Pay ongoing attention to health and safety by following Edstart policies and procedures at all times to ensure all sessions are conducted in a safe environment.5.Ensure registers are completed for all clubs with regular updates being submitted to HR Manager.6.Commute between Primary Schools in order to fulfil coaching obligations.7.Work closely with your Line Manager and adapt to changes in your work load at short notice.QualificationsLevel 2 Qualification in NGB Sport, Sports Degree or equivalent, with a history of working in a school setting or grassroots sports.Job TypesFull Time (dependant on candidate) Part-time, Zero hours contract.
