Assistant Football Coaches – First Team & U21s (Voluntary Roles) Organisation Chorley Women FC Salary 0 Location Runshaw Hall Lane, Chorley, Lancashire, PR7 6HH Contract type Volunteer (Part time) Closing date 31 July 2026 Job Description 🚨 Assistant Football Coaches Wanted – First Team & U21s (Voluntary Roles)🚨Chorley Women FC is looking for enthusiastic, ambitious and committed Assistant Coaches to join our Women’s Programme for the 2026/27 season.This is an exciting opportunity to work within a competitive and progressive environment across both our First Team and U21s squads:⚽ First Team – Tier 4, FA Women’s National League North Division⚽ U21s – Tier 7 Regional FootballWorking alongside our Head Coaches, successful candidates will support the planning, delivery and review of training sessions and matchday operations across the programme.Our blended staffing model provides coaches with the opportunity to work across the entire women’s pathway, supporting player development, progression between squads, and the consistent delivery of our playing philosophy. This approach helps create a genuine one-club culture while offering valuable experience across both senior and development football.🔹 Key Responsibilities• Support the planning and delivery of training sessions• Assist with matchday preparation, analysis and in-game coaching• Contribute to individual player development and progression plans• Support talent identification and player transitions between squads• Help implement and maintain the club’s playing philosophy• Work collaboratively with coaching, medical and support staff🔹 Commitment Required• Training: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 7:00pm–9:00pm• Matchdays: Sundays, 2:00pm kick-off• Additional meetings and club events as required🔹 Essential Criteria• Minimum UEFA C Licence• Strong understanding of player development principles• Excellent communication and organisational skills• Commitment to women’s football and continuous learning• Based within approximately one hour of Chorley🔹 Desirable• UEFA B Licence (or working towards)• Experience within women’s football• Experience in player development, performance analysis or talent pathways🔹 What We Offer• Opportunity to coach within a Tier 4 National League environment• Experience working across both senior and development squads• A collaborative and ambitious coaching team• Ongoing professional development opportunities• The chance to contribute to a clear and integrated player pathway• Expenses and/or remuneration available, dependent on experience, qualifications and role responsibilitiesJoin Chorley Women FC and play a key role in developing players across our First Team and U21s programme.
