Contract type (Full time) Closing date 16 June 2025 Job Description About YouWe are keen to hear from individuals who are passionate about inspiring and engaging young people, possess exceptional communication, planning, coaching and delivery skills, and have a clear understanding of the standards required for success.You should have the following:A Level 2 Coaching/ Context in Coaching Cycling qualification in MTB XC;A degree in coaching, sports science, physical education, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience;Proven experience in talent identification /delivery and/or performance coaching;Knowledge of the British Cycling rider pathway and the standards for rider progression;Excellent written and verbal communication skills;A full UK driving licence valid for domestic and international travel.What You Will Be DoingOur mission for the Talent Development Pathways (2025–2029) is to “develop the best and most connected cycling talent pathways in the world.” This mission focuses on identifying, supporting, and developing riders with the greatest potential for entry into the Great Britain Cycling Team’s Olympic and Paralympic pathways.As an MTB XC Talent Development Coach, you will play a vital role within the Off-Road Talent Development team coaching and delivering targeted MTB XC rider activity, ensuring smooth transitions into talent, competition and the GBCT pathways.
