Job Description
Role: Marketing & Campaigns Manager
Location: Bath Rugby HQ, Farleigh House, BA2 7RW and The Bath Recreation Ground
Reporting to: Head of Marketing, Matchday Experience & Communications
Contract Type: 37.5 hours per week, permanent

Overview

Bath Rugby is seeking a commercially driven and digitally savvy Marketing Manager to support the planning, execution, and optimisation of marketing campaigns, with a strong emphasis on driving matchday ticket sales. This role will play a key part in delivering data-led campaigns, managing paid media channels, and enhancing fan engagement across the full marketing mix.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the management and optimisation of paid media channels, including Meta, Google, and TikTok
• Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns with a primary focus on increasing matchday ticket sales
• Manage and reconcile marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and strong ROI
• Write and develop compelling advertising copy, tailored to different audiences and platforms
• Execute A/B testing strategies to continuously improve campaign performance
• Provide creative recommendations to enhance campaign effectiveness and brand impact
• Support the development of campaign themes and messaging aligned with the club’s identity
• Build and refine audience segmentation strategies to improve targeting and conversion rates
• Deliver regular reporting and performance insights, using data to inform future marketing activity

Required Experience
• Hands-on experience with:
o Meta Ads Manager
o Google Ads
o TikTok Ads
o Google Analytics
o Google Tag Manager
• Full understanding of the marketing mix

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with venue and ticketing
• Experience managing OOH, Radio and Podcast adverts
• Experience working within a marketing agency environment is highly desirable.


Skills

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights
• Excellent copywriting and communication skills
• Experience managing budgets and delivering measurable ROI
• Proactive, creative thinker with strong attention to detail
• Passion for sport and fan engagement

A results-oriented marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands how to connect with audiences through targeted, data-driven campaigns. You’ll be equally comfortable analysing performance metrics as you are shaping creative direction—always with the goal of driving ticket sales and growing the Bath Rugby fanbase.

Location

Based at Bath Rugby HQ, Farleigh House, and The Rec in Bath city centre. Due to the rural location and limited public transport, applicants must live within commuting distance and have access to their own transport.
