Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Plumbing)

Department: Facilities and Estates

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (including matchdays, evenings and weekends)

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Attractive remuneration package

1. The Department
Our Facilities and Estates Department are responsible for looking after our facilities across all our sites – Villa Park, Bodymoor Heath Training Ground and our Brookvale Inner City Academy. As a Club we are determined to continue growing our success on and off the pitch. The Facilities and Estates Department are vital in this journey, supporting the major redevelopment work across all sites, enabling our day-to-day operations and matchdays to happen and making sure all our facilities are maintained to the highest possible standard.


2. The Role
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician (Plumbing) to join the team. You will be based primarily at Villa Park and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation, safety and functionality of all plumbing systems across the Club.

You will be responsible for installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of water supply lines, drainage systems, heating units, and other plumbing fixtures. You will keep records and data in relation to any statutory requirements and develop and implement a planned preventative and response maintenance programme.
You will also provide on-site technical and maintenance support to the wider Facilities and Estates team as and when required.

3. The Person
You must hold a City and Guilds Level 2 Plumbing qualification and be passionate about the quality of your work. You also need to be a skilled and reliable plumbing professional with proven experience in maintenance work and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.

You must also have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of health and safety regulations, and a keen eye for detail. You will need to be available to work flexibly including matchdays and any other Club events as and when required which will include evenings and weekends. You will also need to hold a full, UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle to travel between our Club sites; Villa Park, London Office and Bodymoor Heath Training Ground.
