Job Description: We are seeking proactive, self-motivated individual(s) to support the Facility Manager and Café & Community Park Officer in the smooth running of numerous sporting facilities, meeting rooms & community café at Redlands Leisure and Community Park in Weymouth. You will have great communication skills, enabling you to work with a wide range of organisations and groups to support the activities that take place at Redlands.

You will have excellent basic IT skills assisting with facility bookings, including customer facing interactions and occasionally assisting with offsite in bookings for facilities at our other sites (Slades Park in Bournemouth & The Wey Valley Tennis Centre).

You will be a team player who works well alone as well as in a team, you will be diligent at completing tasks as requested and maintain communication with other team members. Your role will support the overall running of the facilities including; catering operations, organising meeting rooms & community café. This role will build significantly on the work already done in recruiting and supporting volunteers, plus contributing to the wider work of the Active Dorset CIO and seeking improvement in all aspects of its work.

Hours and location: There is a minimum of 2 positions available, depending on successful candidates. We require cover for the following time periods;

Monday to Friday: 17.30-21.00 each day
Saturday and Sunday: 4 hours each day

Successful candidates will be expected to work as a team to cover the hours listed above each week with a minimum of 11 contracted working hours per week for each member of staff. Exact hours will be discussed at interview.

Flexibility will be required throughout the year to cover annual leave, sickness etc.
