Research and Evaluation Services - Yorkshire 2019
UK Sport's Major Events team is responsible for coordinating the bidding and staging of major international sporting events across the UK. It works in partnership with sporting and regional partners to ensure that strategically important international events are staged in the UK, to a world leading standard. The team also provides a comprehensive range of financial, strategic and technical support services to UK Sport's event partners.
Through the Major Events Team, UK Sport is now inviting tenders for the provision of research services associated with the 2019 Road Cycling World Championships in Yorkshire in accordance with this ITT.
In particular, the successful contractor will be required to advise on and undertake an evaluation of the impact of the event on up to three local communities in Yorkshire and others engaged with the event - for example, spectators, volunteers and participants in related programmes or projects - drawing on, and bringing together, any research being undertaken by other stakeholders as appropriate.
Suppliers wishing to tender are requested to register their expression of interest by emailing Leyanne.Jenkins@uksport.gov.uk by 17:00hrs on Monday 29th April, 2019 along with any clarification questions they may have in accordance with paragraph 8 of this ITT.
Performance Pathway & Culture Educational Video
The Performance Pathway Team is a collaboration between UK Sport and the English Institute of Sport ("EIS"). It supports World Class Programmes ("WCPs") to identify and develop talented athletes and the construction of the underpinning support systems.
The Culture Development Team is a newly formed team in UK Sport which forms part of the wider People Development Team. The Culture Development Team supports World Class Programmes to adopt sustainable winning cultures that promote the wellbeing and performance of staff and athletes.
Both the Performance Pathway Team and the Culture Development Team run a number of educational initiatives for the development of staff within WCPs and are seeking a company to film and produce a number of video resources to support this work. A detailed specification is set out within this ITT.
We would welcome bids from any companies that feel they have knowledge and experience of interviewing High Performance Sport and talent and development and producing high-quality engaging content.
*As an exception, we have extended the deadline for submission of clarification questions until 12:00 Tuesday 23rd April 2019, therefore Suppliers should submit any clarification questions by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org by that deadline. UK Sport will issue responses to all clarification questions by 17:00 Tuesday 23rd April 2019.
Additionally, Suppliers wishing to tender may submit their bid by 17:00 Friday 26th April 2019 regardless of whether or not they have registered their expression of interest (in accordance with paragraph 5 of the ITT).

Major Events Impact Report
The Major Events Team in UK Sport requires research and evaluation services to be undertaken on the benefits of hosting a major event in the UK and Ireland. The evaluation should include a detailed assessment of the economic benefits as well as a full evaluation of other impact areas, such as tourism, business, physical, individual, social, community and media/broadcast. The project will require an established and experienced organisation, with a proven track record of undertaking research and evaluation in this field. Tenderers must be familiar with the principles and requirements of eventimpacts.com, the HM Treasury Green Book and the Public Spending Code.
UK Sport now invites tenders for the provision of the above services. Potential suppliers are required to register their interest by emailing email@example.com by Monday 8th April 2019. The email should include:
- Details of the lead contact person for the tenderer; and
- A signed two-way confidentiality agreement (as an attachment – template is below)
Details of the applicable timeframes and process can be found within the ITT documentation. However, please note that only on receipt of the expression of interest and the two-way confidentiality agreement will the full specification be issued. Full tenders must be submitted by Friday 26th April 2019.

Employer Recruitment Services for Athlete Futures Event
UK Sport would like to appoint an organisation to help source and recruit potential employers from a variety of industries to attend the Athlete Futures event in Autumn 2020.
