As the group stages of the World Series of Boxing reach their conclusion, UK Sport is offering five pairs of tickets to the British Lionhearts’ next home fixture and a chance to see the man regarded as the finest pound-for-pound Olympic boxer in the world, Vasyl Lomachenko, when the British team takes on the Ukraine Otamans at London’s iconic York Hall on Friday 1 March 2013.
London 2012 silver medallist, Fred Evans and fellow Team GB Olympian, Andrew Selby, will compete in a strong Lionhearts line-up alongside Irish sensation and current European Champion, Joe Ward, Liverpool’s Sam Maxwell and the number one ranked heavyweight in the World Series of Boxing, Joe Joyce, who will be looking to make it five wins out of five as he boxes in his hometown.
The Lionhearts will face a tough Ukraine team featuring double Olympic and world champion, Lomachenko and London 2012 heavyweight gold medallist, Oleksandr Usyk, whose contest with the unbeaten Joe Joyce promises to be one of the highlights of this season’s World Series of Boxing.
To be in with a chance of winning tickets, look out for the quiz question on UK Sport’s Twitter feed, @uk_sport, on Wednesday 20 February. The first five people to answer correctly will each win a pair of tickets.
