Surfing made its Olympic debut at the Tokyo Games, where the action consisted of Shortboard events for men and women and a total of 20 athletes competing in each event.
The sport will return for the 2024 games, with the action taking place at renowned surfing spot Teahupo’o in Tahiti, read more on the Paris 2024 website.
The National Governing Body is Surfing England who are based in Devon. Surfing England aim to assist surfers in their preparations to compete for British Surfing and at Olympic Games.
