All our thoughts are with the Royal Family as they, and we, come to terms with the sad loss of the Queen.
We all respected her wisdom, her dignity and her devotion as the Head of State.
She was a huge supporter of our Olympic and Paralympic teams: hosting athletes, coaches, support staff and supporters at various events over many years.
Any of us lucky enough to have spent time with her, loved her warmth, her interest, her compassion and her humour.
It is immensely sad to accept she won’t be in our lives anymore, but she will live long in our memories and in our hearts.
