In the summer of 2020 a number of serious allegations were made against the conduct of the British Bobsleigh and Skeleton (BBSA) Board. Given the nature of the allegations, and that they were against the Directors of the BBSA Board, UK Sport agreed with the National Governing Body and the complainant to commission an independent investigation into these allegations.
A detailed independent investigation was conducted by Quest; an expert agency who specialise in investigations across a range of integrity matters including sport. Their investigation has concluded that all allegations made against the BBSA Board were unsubstantiated.
UK Sport CEO, Sally Munday said:
“As a sporting community, it is critical we work together to uphold the highest standards of integrity and conduct and that we take appropriate action when these are called into question. We acknowlege Quest’s findings of their independent review into the conduct of the BBSA Board which found no evidence of misconduct. Quest have now closed their independent investigation into the matter.”
