UK Sport, the nation’s high performance sports agency, has today announced a four-year partnership with sport and leisure insurers Sportscover.
A world-leading specialist, Sportscover provide a range of insurance products - including public liability, events insurance and property insurance - specifically designed for the sport and leisure industry.
As UK Sport’s annual World Class Performance Conference gets underway in Manchester today, where over 300 Performance Directors, coaches and support staff from Britain’s Olympic and Paralympic sports will gather for the next three days to learn, debate and share best practice, Sportscover has also been unveiled as the new Presenting Partner of the event for the next four years.
With over 25 years’ experience of underwriting a range of insurance products and delivering risk management solutions for the sports and events industry, Sportscover, as a partner to UK Sport, will bring a wealth of expertise to the UK high performance system. As part of their rights, Sportscover will also become the Presenting Partner of UK Sport’s Gold Event Series Workshops and Governance events through to 2017.
