One year ago today, Will Bayley guaranteed a silver medal for ParalympicsGB, winning his table tennis semi and a place in the final.
Bayley’s celebrations brought an army of new fans as he knocked over the court barrier and leaped into his coach's arms. Following an emotionally charged defeat in the final the next day Bayley said: "I’m young and I still want a gold medal – that’s my dream."
Luckily, the International Paralympic Committee captured the moment - fast forward to 34:24 to see Will's celebration in full.
Did You Know? Table tennis was one of three sports - along with Sailing and Powerlifting - to contribute to the British Paralympic medal tally in London after missing out in Beijing.
