Tuesday 23 January marks 2012 days to go to the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Games. The eyes of the world will be on London and the UK on 27th July 2012, and work is well underway to make sure the 2012 Games are the most memorable yet.
Chair of the London 2012 Organising Committee Sebastian Coe has recorded a special podcast with Prime Minister Tony Blair and shares his thoughts on the London 2012 Blog. Coe said: "This is a good time to reflect on why we were so passionate about winning the Games.
"For me the Games are about the power of sport to inspire young people and drive social, economic and environmental agendas that will leave tangible legacies for the UK and the Olympic movement.
"There is huge support for the Games right around the country and I would like to thank everyone doing their bit to make our Games the very best they can be."
