What our participants have said about this experience
“This has given us a shared understanding of both what the person giving feedback is trying to do and how they’re trying to do it, but also giving an appreciation for the person receiving it as to what they’re trying to achieve. This is a skill that you need to practice, keep learning from and keep working out what’s best for the new situation you’re in, which will really help you as an individual and the collective really thrive moving forward” - Head of Athlete and Coach Pathways, British Shooting
"I personally found it super valuable and was already putting some of my learnings into practice today and I was a little surprised at the results! For example, I just tried ‘freewheeling’ a little more with the athlete… she was able to be far more open and authentic. I did catch myself at times asking hypothetical questions and leading questions and sometimes providing advice….. there were at least two times where she was able to conclude herself without me guiding her" - Coach
