Job Description
We are looking for a Physiotherapist to join a well established
team at Zone Six – Health & Performance in Loughton, Essex. Situated next to Loughton central line station.

We are an experienced multi-disciplinary team of sports medicine and injuries specialists including physiotherapists, massage therapists and performance coaches. Our team experience includes 10 seasons in the Premier League and champions league football, boxing champions and elite athletes across professional sport and around the world. Our experience in elite sport has inspired us to be able to provide a similar service to our clients, striving to bring the highest level of elite care, normally provided to athletes. We have a facility in Loughton including a fully equipped gym with VALD and Output testing equipment, providing an excellent environment for client rehabilitation as well as an opportunity to work alongside and cross-refer with our performance coaches.

The candidates primary responsibility will be assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation utilising their skills and knowledge. The candidate will have a keen interest in the client journey and how treatment can form a strong part of their experience.

We would like the candidate to have the following skills and experience:
• a BSc or MSc degree in Physiotherapy and be a Chartered Physiotherapist
• a registration with the HCPC
• a minimum of 3 year post graduate experience, including NHS experience
• can demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) and a desire to improve as a physiotherapist
• strong manual therapy skills
• the ability to provide safe and progressive gym-based rehabilitation programmes
• the ability to work as an autonomous practitioner in providing physiotherapy assessments, diagnosis and treatments to a wide range of musculoskeletal patients
• the ability to use evidence-based practise and specialist skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions
• the ability to liaise with other health care professionals to provide the optimum management of patients.
• the ability to participate activities to further develop own development and other service developments and attend and take part in education and training as required
• the ability to maintain up to date physiotherapy records in line with professional and clinical governance standards
• the desire to provide a high standard of care to every patient in order to maintain and prove the high standards of the company
• a background working in sport would be desirable
We would like the candidate to have the following personal attributes:
• a desire to generate business through initiative and by working within a team
• be self-motivated, reliable, professional and able to build relationships
• enjoys working with a fun, motivated team
• Innovative in ways of improving how we work as a team
• strong communication skills – communicating with clients, other members of the team and external contacts
• strong IT skills using our online note keeping system and booking in clients as necessary
• enjoys helping clients achieve their goals

We are looking for a Physiotherapist to join us at ZONE SIX on a part time basis. You will have use of the gym facilities and CPD opportunities including opportunities to learn from clinicians and coaches. The role may include weekends, peak times, early morning or evenings. Terms, hours and income discussed at interview.
