Job Description
Premier Education is a fun, energetic, and child‑centred organisation delivering high‑quality wraparound care during term time and multi‑activity holiday camps throughout the year. The Role

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Activity Professional to support the delivery of exceptional after‑school provision for children aged 4–11. You will play a key role in planning, delivering, and evaluating engaging sports and enrichment activities that promote physical, social, and emotional development.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys working with children, and is committed to high‑quality childcare and coaching.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning & Delivery

Plan and deliver fun, progressive activity sessions focused on participation, development, and enjoyment.
Adapt activities to meet the diverse needs and abilities of children.
Educate children on the benefits of physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
Maintain high levels of engagement, behaviour management, and focus during sessions.
Provide additional support for children who require extra assistance.
Safeguarding & Welfare

Take full responsibility for the safety and well‑being of all children in your care.
Log safeguarding concerns using the correct referral systems in line with company procedures.
Follow all safeguarding and child protection policies consistently.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children.
Professional Standards

Act as a positive ambassador for Youngstars Childcare Ltd and Premier Education.
Maintain high standards of punctuality, professionalism, and conduct.
Follow all company policies, including Health & Safety, GDPR, and Equality & Diversity.
Ensure equipment is stored, maintained, and checked regularly.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school staff.
Knowledge & Experience

Essential

Experience working in a school setting.
Experience delivering multiple sports.
Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
Ability to plan and deliver activities for children aged 4–11.
Experience communicating with parents and school staff, including handling enquiries and complaints.
Desirable

Understanding of OFSTED requirements and the National PE Curriculum.
Requirements

Essential

Minimum Level 2 Sports Qualification or equivalent teaching qualification.
At least 1 year experience delivering sports or activity sessions.
Strong organisation and planning skills.
Confident behaviour management.
Energetic, creative, and child‑centred approach.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Commitment to ongoing CPD.
Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
Paediatric First Aid qualification.
Safeguarding CPD (training provided).
