Job Description
About the Role:

Youngstars Childcare Ltd, a proud franchise of Premier Education, is looking for an enthusiastic Activity Professional to join our team, delivering fun, engaging, and safe activities for children aged 3–11.

The role may involve working across more than one location. You’ll support and lead Breakfast Club, Lunch Cover, After School Care, and a range of After School Sports Clubs, inspiring children to be active, learn new skills, and enjoy healthy lifestyles.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, Permanent/Term-Time (35 hours week)

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities focusing on participation, skill development, and enjoyment
Supervise and engage children during breakfast, lunch, and after school sessions
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff
Adapt activities to meet the needs and abilities of all participants
Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and school policies

Certificates and Training (Basic Requirements):

Prevent Training
GDPR & Equality Training
Safeguarding/Child Protection Certificates
Up-to-date Enhanced DBS Certificate
Paediatric First Aid
A minimum of one Level 2 NGB sports qualification and/or equivalent teaching qualification (in-house training available)
A confident and strong personality with a desire to make a difference
Ability to work independently

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience delivering sports or activity sessions or teaching groups of children aged 3–11 in a school setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of activities
Flexibility to adapt sessions to meet the diverse needs and abilities of children
Creativity in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
Understanding of the importance of keeping children safe and following all safeguarding procedures
Knowledge of Safeguarding and Health & Safety within a school setting
Full driving licence and access to a car preferred
IT skills for play and club administration, including use of the Premier BMS system
Two professional referees able to comment on your work with people, particularly children (Agency statements of service are not accepted as references)
