Job Description: York City Football Club is seeking an enthusiastic, organised and customer-focused Commercial & Hospitality Executive to support in the delivery of an outstanding experience for sponsors, corporate guests, supporters and other visitors. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the club Commercial and Hospitality departments, while delivering exceptional customer service. Reporting into the Business Development Officer, this is a role with a varied remit and numerous touchpoints across the club, the fanbase and the community of York. The role provides a strong opportunity for personal growth aligned with meaningful development for the club

Key Responsibilities

Hospitality & Matchdays
• Assist with the preparation, presentation and removal of hospitality lounges, executive boxes and sponsor areas on matchdays
• Support the BDO in managing matchday operations across hospitality including providing customer service for all hospitality guests and ensure a first-class customer experience.
• Support hospitality registration and guest check-in.
• Liaise with catering providers and stadium key contacts to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Help coordinate sponsor gifts, programmes and hospitality materials.
• Assist with matchday hospitality administration and guest enquiries including itinerary and invoicing communication to customers.
• Provide operational support before, during and after fixtures and club events.
Commercial Support
• Manage a portfolio of player sponsors to achieve common goals.
• Take responsibility for activation across the women’s team sponsorship.
• Assist with sponsor activations and promotional events including our business club, The Executive Circle.
• Support corporate events, conferences and non-matchday functions.
• Help maintain customer databases.
• Support ticketing and promotional initiatives when required.
• Work collaboratively with the BDO and media teams on campaigns including pulling together sponsorship social media activity.
General
• Be a positive ambassador for York City Football Club at all times.
• Maintain high standards of presentation throughout all public-facing areas.
• Comply with all Health & Safety, Safeguarding, GDPR and Club policies.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties requested by the Business Development Officer.
• Work with all other departments to ensure the smooth running of the football club
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative workplace in a thriving and growing professional football club
