We’re on an exciting journey to grow the club through development of a new and progressive Academy, alongside investment to support evolution of the 1st team environment, performance infrastructure, and progression to higher performance levels. What’s in the role?Reporting to the Director of Performance & Medical, this role will contribute to the practical and strategic evolution of our player development and support process. You will initiate performance support processes for 1st team players, alongside engaging with Player Care staff and organising reflective spaces for players, coaches and other support staff. You will lead the development of a Performance Psychology and Mental Health strategy for the 1st team and Academy, supporting an environment where everybody is recognised as part of the psychology strategy. In leading the Club in this domain, you will engage additional expertise where necessary to build a network of support for players and staff including clinical referral, wellbeing, performance culture evolution, communication and interdisciplinary working, and player recruitment.Who are we looking for?To help us realise our ambition we’re not just looking for people to fill roles; we’re searching for those who are passionate about helping us build something special and create meaningful change.
