Location Wycliffe College, Bristol Road, Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, GL10 2AF Contract type Permanent (Part time) Closing date 22 June 2026 Job Description Wycliffe College are seeking two enthusiastic and committed Sports Coaches (Netball and/or Hockey) to join our sports department. Reporting to our Head of Junior/Senior Games, the successful candidates will provide high-quality coaching to pupils of all abilities, helping them develop their skills, confidence and enjoyment in Netball and/or Hockey.This role will involve planning and delivering structured training sessions, supporting development through effective assessment and fostering a positive, inclusive sporting culture that promotes participation, teamwork and sportsmanship.The ideal candidates will hold a Netball and/or Hockey Coaching Level 1 qualification (Level 2 desirable) and have experience delivering coaching to children in a school or club environment. A strong playing background, officiating qualifications, and experience in an independent or state school setting would be advantageous. Applicants should demonstrate knowledge of tactics and rules, effective behaviour management, strong communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.If you are passionate about developing young people through sport, we would be delighted to hear from you.Terms of AppointmentThis is a permanent position offered on a part-time basis. Up to two coaches will be appointed to coach between 16 and 32 periods per fortnight, depending on pupil numbers and fixture arrangements.
