Job Description
Salary:£32,000 per annum

Location:Hybrid (Wembley Stadium & remote) with the requirement to be in the stadium a minimum of 2 days per week.

Reporting to: Head of Strategic Partnerships & Programmes

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Working hours: 9.15am–5pm, with occasional work outside these hours to support events and partner activity.

About Wembley Stadium Foundation

We are a grant-making charity, using the power of Wembley Stadium to inspire, transform and connect communities through sport and the performing arts. Funded through event-day income, we break down barriers to access by distributing grants to charities locally and nationally.

This is an exciting time to join the Foundation and contribute to our ambitious new strategy to deliver meaningful impact across England. We are a small, dedicated team and the right candidate will contribute positively to our values and collaborative culture.

Purpose of the Role

The Partnerships Executive will play an important role in supporting all stages of the grant-making cycle and our work with funded partners, ensuring that our grants portfolio is well coordinated, our processes are clear and accessible, and that partners have a positive experience engaging with the Foundation. Working closely with the team they will play a key role in supporting our grant-making and partner engagement, leading on day-to-day relationship management, grant administration, impact reporting and communications.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Support

Lead on the day-to-day management of relationships with funded partners across sport, movement and performing arts charities.
Act as the lead contact for partner enquiries, ensuring clear, professional and timely communication.
Coordinate quarterly partner meetings, including scheduling, agendas and follow-up actions.
Work with the Head of Strategic Partnerships & Programmes to ensure grants compliance.
Grants Administration

Coordinate application processes, including applicant support and processing applications.
Lead on grants administration such as partnership agreements, onboarding new partners, grant payment schedules, reviewing and maintaining systems to support the grants process.
Update partner trackers and records in SharePoint and WSF’s grant management system, ensuring information is accurate and organised.
Impact & Reporting

Ensure the timely collection and organisation of impact data, collaborating with external consultants where appropriate and supporting partners in understanding reporting requirements and deadlines.
Assist in preparing partner updates, case studies, and content for reports.
Communications

Plan and manage external communications, including creating and sharing content on social media channels to promote grants and share our impact.
Act as a helpful first point of contact for the Foundation, responding to general enquiries appropriately.
Events

Assist with coordination and logistics of events hosted in our Foundation Box at Wembley, including welcoming groups of young people and supporting their visit.

Person Specification

Essential

Experience within a charity, grant-maker, or non-profit environment.
Experience in partnerships or stakeholder-facing roles.
Strong written and spoken communication skills with the ability to build positive internal and external relationships.
Excellent administration and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrable ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and effectively.
Collaborative, positive and proactive attitude with willingness to support colleagues.
Values-led with a passion for improving outcomes for children and young people and commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.
Confident using Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Desirable

Understanding of the youth sector or youth programme delivery in sport, arts, or community development.
Experience of charity monitoring and evaluation, and/or impact measurement.
Experience using CRM or grant management systems.
Experience in social media or communications.
