Help shape the next generation of Warwickshire cricketers!

We are looking for a Sport Psychologist to join our Performance Team and support the development and wellbeing of players across our Academy, Emerging Player Programme (EPP) and County Age Group (CAG) squads. This is an exciting opportunity to provide one-to-one and group mental skills support and education, while working closely with coaches and the wider Academy & Pathway multidisciplinary team to support the psychological and psychosocial development of players and parents within the Pathway programme.

This is a contractor position offering the opportunity to play an important role in supporting player transitions from EPP to Academy and into the professional environment, or out of elite sport, while contributing to player case formulations and Individual Development Plans (IDPs). You will work alongside the men's and women's WCCC Lead Psychologists, CAG, EPP and Academy coaches, providing support across the winter training programme and into the summer, including occasional match-play observation and Academy and EPP training sessions.

We are looking for someone with a Master’s in Sport and/or Exercise Psychology, HCPC registration or evidence of being on a recognised route with regular supervision, and BPS or BASES accreditation (or currently undertaking the relevant route), alongside experience of working with young adolescents in a sporting environment and strong applied psychological coaching and relationship-building skills.
