Job Description
We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Community Schools Coach to join Warwickshire Cricket Foundation, delivering high-quality cricket and PE-based programmes in primary schools across Warwickshire as part of the national Chance to Shine initiative.

This is a school-based coaching role focused on delivering inclusive, engaging curriculum and extra-curricular sessions, helping young people develop physical literacy, confidence, and a love for cricket. You’ll work closely with school staff to embed cricket into their wider sporting offer and signpost pupils to community clubs and programmes such as All Stars Cricket and Dynamos Cricket.

While the core focus is school delivery, you’ll also have the opportunity to support wider Foundation activity, including community hubs, stadium events, holiday camps, and county competitions.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• An ECB Foundation Coach (Level 1) qualification or equivalent (or higher)
• Experience coaching cricket or PE in schools or community settings
• A valid Enhanced DBS, First Aid, and ECB Safeguarding qualification
• Confidence engaging with children and school staff in a professional, age-appropriate way
• Strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently across multiple school sites

You should also be comfortable using basic IT systems for planning and reporting, and committed to your own ongoing CPD and development.

Working Hours & Expectations:

• Full-time, 35 hours per week, normally Monday to Friday.
• Core hours typically fall between 9.00am and 5.00pm, with occasional evening or weekend work required.
• You must have a full driving licence and access to transport for travel between schools and venues.
• This is a permanent position, based at Edgbaston Stadium, with delivery taking place at various locations across Warwickshire.
