Job Description
The role

Are you passionate about fitness and eager to begin a career in the leisure industry? Uppingham School is offering an exciting chance to join our dedicated Fitness Team as a Personal Trainer Apprentice. This is a unique opportunity to develop valuable skills, gain industry-recognised qualifications, and make a positive impact in a thriving school and community environment.

As a Personal Trainer Apprentice, you will play an active role in the day-to-day running of our modern fitness studio. You will be the first point of contact for pupils, staff, and members of the public, offering a warm and professional welcome to all who use our facilities. You will also help maintain the fitness studio, carry out inductions, supervise students, and assist with general fitness studio administration.

With the support of our experienced team, you will work towards completing qualifications in Level 2 Gym Instructing and Level 3 Personal Training. Your training will equip you with the skills and expertise to deliver tailor made fitness programmes around the needs of the individual and provide them with the highest levels of customer care.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a genuine enthusiasm for exercise and fitness, and is looking to work and learn in a supportive and inspiring environment. While no formal qualifications are required, we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and an interest in providing a stand-out customer service.
