Delivery of our sport and physical activity strategy is through UoM Sport which is based across our campuses primarily in Fallowfield at the Armitage Sports Centre and in Manchester University Students’ Union on Oxford Road. Our activities take place across the city utilising a range of city facilities in supporting our community being active and promoting physical activity opportunities through our facilities and programmes. The post holder will deliver quality coaching, management, organising, delivering, and monitoring performance to the University of Manchester’s Men’s Rugby Union Club and increase their performance in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS). This role will primarily be responsible for leading the 1st & 2nd teams from the club who play at the performance level in the UoM Sport Pathway and take part in BUCS league games between October and March and are entered in the BUCS cup competition. Coaching Hours - 2 x 1.5 hour training sessions per week (Monday 18:00–19:30; Friday 18:00–19:30) M1 & M2 teams.
