Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and structured netball training sessions for students of varying skill levels for three training sessions a week, each spanning from 2-3 hours.
- Develop individual and team performance strategies, including technical, tactical, and physical conditioning, ensuring players reach their full potential.
- Analyse game/performance data and adjust coaching strategies accordingly.
- Prepare students for BUCS fixtures, Varsity and other relevant events.
- Provide mentorship and motivation to students, fostering a positive and disciplined training culture.
- Work closely with the club captain and other coaches to determine match and team selection.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including risk assessments and injury prevention measures.
- Uphold health and safety, safeguarding and inclusivity standards, ensuring a welcoming environment for all participants.

Person Specification/Qualifications:
- At least level 2 coaching qualification or higher.
- Significant coaching/playing experience.
- Strong communication, motivational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a coaching team.

What we offer:
- An induction to the role.
- Support you to understand and adhere to relevant club policy.
- A regular point of contact to support you.
- Opportunities to connect with the wider Cambridge sporting community.
- The chance to contribute ideas and help shape the direction of our performance programme, making a meaningful impact.
- A welcoming and motivated team environment.
- The opportunity to coach athletes competing at a very high level of student sport.
- Involvement in high-profile fixtures, including the annual Varsity Match.
- A platform to build your coaching profile with ambitious athletes, some on national or super league team pathways.
