This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality strength and conditioning services to student-athletes across a range of sports.You’ll be part of a dynamic and supportive team at Team Bath, contributing to the development of student-athletes in a nationally recognised performance environment. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience in a high-performance setting and make a meaningful impact on athlete development.About the roleYou will lead the delivery of group-based strength and conditioning sessions, working primarily with university-level athletes. The role involves designing and implementing evidence-based training programmes that support athletic development, performance enhancement, and injury reduction.You will work closely with the Lead Athletic Performance Coach and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic and aligned approach to athlete support.Key Responsibilities:* Apply research-led best practices in physical preparation, periodisation, and recovery.* Contribute to athlete screening, monitoring, and load management.* Maintain accurate records and contribute to programme evaluation and reporting.* Support CPD activities and contribute to cross-departmental education initiatives.* Collaborate with internal and external partners to support athlete development pathways.About youWe are seeking someone who:* holds a degree in Strength & Conditioning or a related field, * has experience delivering strength and conditioning services in a performance sport setting.* understands the demands of university environments.* is confident working independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.* has excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.* is committed to ongoing professional development and service improvement.Further informationThis is a part-time role (0.5 fte) for a fixed-term period until June 2026 to cover parental leave, however, annual leave must align with university's semester breaks.An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
