Job Description
About Ultimate Sports Therapy & Performance:

Ultimate Sports Therapy & Performance (USTP) is a sports therapy and performance company specialising in Sports Therapy, Injury Rehabilitation and Prevention and Strength & Conditioning.
Our team works with individuals and athletes across a wide range of abilities, from recreational sport through to elite and international-level athletes. Our approach combines evidence-based Sports Therapy and Strength & Conditioning to help athletes optimise their performance.

The Role:

USTP has worked closely with an academy-level netball programme for the past eight years, supporting the physical development and performance of young netball athletes.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and professional Strength & Conditioning Coach / Fitness Coach to join our team and deliver strength & conditioning sessions to academy-level netball players in the Cambridge area.
The position runs throughout the netball season, from October 2026 until the end of April 2027, with sessions currently taking place twice per month on Mondays from 5:00–7:00pm.

The role will involve:

• Delivering structured strength & conditioning and fitness sessions to young academy-level netball athletes
• Developing strength, speed, agility, power, conditioning and general athletic qualities
• Delivering sessions that are safe, engaging and appropriate to the athletes’ age and stage of development
• Supporting the long-term physical development of young athletes
• Working alongside USTP and the academy coaching team
• Providing a positive, professional and supportive training environment

Qualifications & Experience:

We are looking for someone who has:
• A BSc in Strength & Conditioning, Sports Science, Sports Coaching or a related discipline, or an equivalent recognised qualification in fitness and/or personal training
• A minimum of 1–2 years of relevant coaching experience, preferably working with youth or academy-level athletes
• A good understanding of Strength & Conditioning principles and youth athletic development
• An interest in developing young athletes and helping them improve their physical performance
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A professional, reliable and enthusiastic approach
• Their own transport and the ability to travel to sessions within the Cambridge area

Previous experience within netball would be beneficial but is not essential. We are particularly interested in coaches who understand youth athletic development, enjoy working with young athletes and are comfortable working within an academy environment.

Position Details:

This is a self-employed position, with two Monday sessions per month from 5:00–7:00pm, running from October 2026 until the end of April 2027.
How to apply
If you are interested in joining USTP and working within our academy netball programme, please send your CV and a brief introduction to info@ustp-ltd.co.uk.
