The focus of the role will be on managing all financial reporting requirements; implementing financial payment processes; and, supporting the EUROs team to deliver its financial assurance programme, team procurement activity and contract management requirements. The role will also provide a key liaison function for UK Sport’s corporate Finance Team. About youThe postholder will have a passion for major events, their impacts and a belief in the benefits they can confer on the cities and communities of the UK. You will have excellent financial acumen and literacy, including a professional accountancy qualification; experience in budgetary reporting, procurement and contract management, and; be confident when presenting to and working with senior officials from government. The postholder will also require a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal communication and stakeholder management skills. A sense of humour and the capacity to manage relationships through UK Sport values will also be essential.
