Location: Wembley Stadium, London (with travel across the UK & Ireland)

Contract: Fixed-term | September 2026 - Summer 2028

About UK & Ireland 2028 Limited

UK & Ireland 2028 Limited is the local organising committee responsible for delivering UEFA EURO 2028 across the UK & Ireland. We work on behalf of the five Football Associations and in partnership with governments, host cities, stadiums and delivery partners to plan and deliver the tournament safely, inclusively and to world-class standards.

About UEFA EURO 2028

UEFA EURO is one of the world’s largest sporting events. In 2028, it will be hosted across multiple cities in the UK & Ireland, requiring large-scale coordination across transport, infrastructure, stadiums and public services. UEFA owns the tournament and sets requirements; UK & Ireland 2028 Limited is responsible for delivering it locally.

The Role

To support the Operations Stadium Safety & Security team in the successful delivery of UEFA EURO 2028 across UK & Ireland through the provision of wide-ranging support and coordination to the team. This will involve undertaking of specific projects to support the delivery of tournament operations but also day-to-day administrative assistance to the team including coordination and integration into the wider tournament planning as well providing travel and accommodation to the team. There will also be a specific focus on supporting the operational governance groups that will be established to plan the tournament including scheduling, logistics and follow-up minutes/actions.

What you’ll be doing

• Become a central point of contact for the operations team, encompassing stadium safety and security.
• Manage all travel and accommodation for the stadium safety and security team including attendance at external meetings and site visits, liaising as required with venues and both internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, venue bookings, meeting logistics, agendas and actions for the team.
• Provide high-quality coordination and administrative support across projects, meetings and operational activity.
• Undertake additional tournament related projects including tournament milestone events as required throughout the tournament planning.
• Responsible for overseeing the processing and payment of tournament related costs and invoices and maintaining accurate budgets in line with company policies.
• Manage schedules, actions, trackers and documentation to support effective delivery and decision-making.
• Prepare presentations, reports, briefing materials and updates for a range of audiences.
• Support planning activity and ensure actions, deadlines and dependencies are effectively monitored and managed.
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure information is managed accurately, professionally and confidentially where required.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, organisation and ways of working.

What we’re looking for

Essential experience and skills:

• Motivated and passionate about working within sporting events.
• Experience working in a coordination, administration or operational support role.
• Experience supporting projects, teams or operational activity within a collaborative environment.
• Experience in supporting administration processes linked to financial and budget management.
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of accuracy.
• A desire to take on new tasks and areas of responsibility.
• Ability to both establish and maintain relationships with a wide range of diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver high-quality written reports and presentations
• Expertise and experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Project Management tools.
• Ability to adapt positively to changing priorities and operational requirements.

Location & Working Pattern

Based at Wembley Stadium, with travel across the UK & Ireland as required.

- 2026: 3 days/week onsite
- 2027: 3–4 days/week onsite
- 2028: Full-time onsite during tournament delivery
