We work on behalf of the five Football Associations and in partnership with governments, host cities, stadiums and delivery partners to plan and deliver the tournament safely, inclusively and to world-class standards.About UEFA EURO 2028UEFA EURO is one of the world’s largest sporting events. In 2028, it will be hosted across multiple cities in the UK & Ireland, requiring large-scale coordination across transport, infrastructure, stadiums and public services. UEFA owns the tournament and sets requirements; UK & Ireland 2028 Limited is responsible for delivering it locally.The RoleTo lead and guide the UK & Ireland 2028 Limited’s (the Local Organising Company for UEFA EURO 2028) responsibilities in achieving excellence in tournament evaluation, including a focus on monitoring and evaluating social impact and environmental sustainability activity across the tournament’s innovative and ambitious Community Programme. The role will support a positive culture of impact and sustainability reporting across the organisation and our partners, including content management for the Community Programme Online Hub.What you’ll be doing• UK&I 2028 lead for overall Tournament evaluation, working with UK Sport (project lead) and appointed suppliers to deliver high-quality economic, social and environmental impact reporting, including representing UK&I 2028 on the Tournament Evaluation Steering Group. • Create and manage the UK&I 2028 monitoring and evaluation framework for impact and sustainability partnership projects, capturing performance indicators and reporting at regular intervals.• Work with tournament partners including government partners and host football associations to guide and manage effective data collection across the Community Programme partnership projects.• Provide support for environmental sustainability reporting (led by UEFA and external supplier) across UK&I 2028 and Host Cities.• Oversee monitoring and evaluation of any social impact commitments made by tournament sponsors and suppliers.• Content management for the tournament’s Community Programme Online Hub, working with tournament partners and an appointed supplier to populate project information from Host Association, Host Nation and Host City partners to create clear and effective signposting material.• Manage additional research and insight commissioned by the impact and sustainability team to inform ongoing programme development.• Work collaboratively with internal UK&I 2028 teams including the Project Management Office to tell the story of the tournament through data and insight.• Maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of tournament evaluation stakeholders including UEFA, government partners, football association partners, commercial partners, third sector funding partners, and suppliers.• Champion sustainability integration across all tournament operations, influencing partners and internal teams to adopt responsible, inclusive and climate-conscious practices.• Execute additional tasks as needed to meet evolving team and tournament priorities.What we’re looking forEssential experience and skills:• Proven experience managing complex evaluation projects, particularly in a major events or sporting context.• Experience of developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks across multi-stakeholder projects.• Strong understanding of the social impact and environmental sustainability sectors.• Managing external suppliers to fixed deadlines.Technical Skills• Strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative research techniques across economic, social and environmental impact.• Strong analytical and written communication skills.• Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities including Excel.You are likely to be successful in this role if you demonstrate strengths such as:• Adaptable – leads effectively in changing and complex environments.• Catalyst – motivates and enables others to deliver outcomes.• Critical Thinker – evaluates options and makes sound decisions.• Inclusion – creates environments where people feel valued and included.• Performance Focus – drives delivery of high standards and results.• Positive Impact – maintains a positive attitude, resilience and a solutions-focused mindset.• Pride – sets and upholds high standards of work.• Relationship Manager – builds strong and trusted stakeholder relationships.Why apply?We offer a competitive salary and benefits (including 25 days holiday, pension and private medical insurance), alongside the opportunity to be part of a landmark international sporting event.Location & Working PatternBased at Wembley Stadium, with travel across the UK & Ireland as required.2026: 3 days/week onsite2027: 3–4 days/week onsite2028: Full-time onsite during tournament deliveryEveryone is welcomeWe’re hiring for excellence through inclusionWe’re building a skilled, values-led workforce that reflects the diversity of the UK and Ireland.
