About TRI-FIT

TRI-FIT is an independent British performance sports brand specialising in premium triathlon and endurance apparel and equipment.

Our products are worn by professional athletes, amateur competitors and endurance enthusiasts around the world.

We're passionate about creating exceptional products, but equally passionate about the people and community behind the sport.

As TRI-FIT continues to grow, we're looking for an energetic, outgoing and highly organised individual to help us take our athlete and community programmes to the next level.

The opportunity

If you live and breathe triathlon, this could be a pretty special opportunity.

We're looking for a Community & Athlete Manager to become one of the faces of TRI-FIT.

You'll take ownership of our TRI-BE amateur race team, professional athlete relationships, affiliate programme, community events and race activations.

This is a varied role combining community management, athlete relationships, event planning, content creation and brand representation.

During race season, you'll regularly be attending triathlons, marathons, swimming events, expos and activations across the UK.

Between events, you'll be based at TRI-FIT HQ in Wetherby, working closely with our Brand & Marketing Lead to ensure our athletes, community and events are fully integrated into our wider marketing activities.

Key responsibilities

Community & TRI-BE

Manage and grow the TRI-FIT TRI-BE amateur race community.

Organise community activations, shakeout runs and race-weekend meetups.

Develop engagement across community channels, including Strava.

Identify opportunities for collaborations, member benefits and community growth.

Professional athletes & affiliates

Manage relationships with TRI-FIT's professional and sponsored athletes.

Coordinate athlete kit requirements, race calendars and content commitments.

Work with our Brand & Marketing Lead on athlete campaigns, launches and promotions.

Manage affiliate recruitment, onboarding, relationships and performance.

Identify and develop new athlete and affiliate opportunities.

Events & activations

Represent TRI-FIT at triathlons, marathons, expos and endurance events.

Help organise and coordinate event attendance, promotions and activations.

Build relationships with athletes, clubs, organisers and the wider endurance community.

Capture event photography, interviews, reels and short-form social content.

Support product promotion and sales opportunities at events.

About you

We're looking for someone with a great personality, strong organisation and a genuine passion for people.

You'll be:

Outgoing, approachable and confident meeting new people.

Comfortable representing a premium sports brand.

Highly organised, reliable and proactive.

Confident using social media and creating basic short-form video content.

Capable of managing multiple relationships, projects and deadlines.

Comfortable communicating with professional athletes, customers and partners.

Happy travelling and working weekends during the race season.

A genuine understanding of triathlon and endurance sport is highly desirable. Existing involvement in triathlon clubs, racing or the wider community would be a significant advantage.

Working arrangements

This is a full-time, office-based role at TRI-FIT HQ in Wetherby, West Yorkshire.

The position involves regular travel and weekend work during the main race season, typically late April to September.

Time off in lieu will be provided for weekend work.

Why join TRI-FIT?

You'll have the opportunity to work directly with professional athletes, attend major endurance events, help shape an established triathlon community and play an important role in the growth of TRI-FIT.

For someone passionate about triathlon, this is a genuine opportunity to turn that passion into a career.
