Block 1:

7th September 2026 to February 2027
• Wednesday 1:00pm-2:00pm

Block 2: February 2027 to 19th July 2027
• Tuesday 1:00pm-3:00pm
• Wednesday 1:00pm-2:00pm

We’re looking for a qualified Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher to join our aquatics team at move Urmston, delivering school swimming lessons to local primary school pupils.

As part of a supportive and experienced team, you’ll help children develop water confidence, improve their swimming ability and gain essential water safety skills. You’ll play a key role in delivering engaging lessons that support pupils to achieve National Curriculum swimming outcomes in a safe, positive and inclusive environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for daytime teaching hours during the school week, with the potential to pick up additional teaching hours across Trafford Leisure as opportunities arise.

The Role

As a Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher, you’ll deliver safe, engaging and inclusive school swimming lessons, helping pupils develop confidence in the water, improve their swimming ability and build essential water safety skills.

You’ll create positive learning experiences that encourage participation and progression while helping pupils achieve their individual learning outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Delivering structured school swimming lessons for primary-aged children
Supporting pupils to develop swimming ability, confidence and water safety awareness
Assessing pupil progress and adapting lessons to meet the needs of different abilities
Promoting water safety and positive behaviours in and around the pool
Working collaboratively with school staff, pool staff and colleagues
Maintaining a safe, inclusive and enjoyable learning environment
