Job Description
Trafford Leisure has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lifeguard to join the team.

Location: Sale Leisure Centre, Greater Manchester

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Hours: Full Time, 36.25 per week

About The Role:

As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer experiences and ensuring our facilities run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

Creating a welcoming environment for all visitors, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
Supporting the Duty Manager with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures and maintaining smooth facility management.
Handling challenging situations with professionalism, guiding the team to resolve customer concerns effectively.
Collaborating across departments to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
Identifying opportunities for improvement, working with your Manager to enhance customer satisfaction.
Engaging with visitors, answering queries, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
Driving sales and retention, building relationships, generating leads, and promoting our services.
Maintaining equipment and activity areas, ensuring everything is clean, safe, and ready for use.
Setting up for scheduled programmes, preparing spaces and equipment as needed.
Providing lifeguard support, ensuring a safe and enjoyable swimming environment for all.

To be successful in the role of Senior Lifeguard:

Ideally, you’ll have:

A valid Royal Life Saving Society Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
Experience in a supervisory or team leader role, or the potential to step into one confidently.
