Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Trafford Leisure as a Level 2 Swimming Instructor.

Location: Stretford and Urmston

Hours: Will be discussed at interview stage, a variety of hours will be available to suit your lifestyle and other commitments.

The Role

We are looking for motivated, proactive and enthusiastic individuals to join our teams at an exciting period of change for Trafford Leisure.

To be successful in this role you must have a Level 2 qualification with Swim England.

The ideal candidate will embody the Trafford Leisure Values of Making a Difference, being Open and Honest, Valuing Diversity and bringing Energy & Empathy into all ways of working.

In this role of Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for:

Delivering structured lessons for all levels of swimmers
Teaching students from schools or who are Adult or Junior members of our community
Assessing against the agreed Swim Well criteria
Coordinating distribution of awards
Working with teachers and parents to organise classes and ensuring that Health and Safety needs are met
Personally, ensuring that equipment is at first class standards in both safety and cleanliness at all times
Personally, ensuring that the environment in which you deliver your role is of a high standard
Owning and managing the administration of your work, including:
Diary management
Individual records for swimmer achievements
